MQTT is a M2M (machine-to-machine) communications protocol. We show the integration of the MQTT protocol in our run-time system logi.RTS and in our programming system logi.CAD 3 (MQTT library POU (program organisation unit). A prototypical model will prove the communication of some PLCs (Raspberry Pi). It is possible to compare the process data with other PLCs via simple POU appeals.

We have conntected another IO-system to our run-time system logi.RTS. The IO‑System emBrick by IMACS has been conntected to Raspberry Pi by Linux and the simulation version among Win 8.1. emBrick is an open and free, modular IO-System combined with the sensor/actuator connection.

Due to the favorable open-Frame-construction and the simple connection to every controller, it is an unique, free and all-purpose embedded controllersolution for 10 to 1000 IOs. As long as the producer is IMACS GmbH (www.embrick.de or www.imacs-gmbh.de)

Caused by the cooperation of Embedded-CPU, IO-System, PLC-run-time system and PLC-programming tool, there is a very beneficial price-performance ratio, especially by using logi.CAD 3 compact, which simplifies the use of these technologies.
